During my training as a dog trainer, I learned a lot of theory about dogs. However, I learned the most from working with our dog during this time. I was able to discover and observe with enthusiasm how important the nose and sniffing are for dogs. . The targeted search for toys and training tools that appeal to this sense of the dog was, however, unsuccessful. So I sat down myself: first at the drawing pad, then at the sewing machine . What would be fun for Josie, what would stimulate her, what would inspire her and utilize?

The result, the first prototype of today's SCHNÜFFELRASEN®, convinced our dog from the very first second. And thus me and my family too.

After our Josie had so much fun with the sniffing lawn and I increasingly used it in my training, we thought: What our dog likes could also be an enrichment for other dog owners.

By now you already know: we simply try out our ideas! And so in 2014 we presented our sniffer toys to a wider public for the first time at a trade fair for pet supplies. There we were real sniffer pioneers! No other manufacturer put our dogs' favorite hobby as consistently at the center as we did.

The responses and inquiries were so overwhelming that we knew we had proven to be good sniffers ourselves. The next step was then easy: KNAUDER'S BEST was founded.

Since then, we have been developing sniffing products for every dog ​​breed, every dog ​​character and every possible life situation of dog owners. As a perfect complement to our sniffing products, we have also been offering our own treats since 2021: the Schnüffelis .

The best thing about it for us? Seeing again and again how much joy we bring to dogs and dog owners with our passion.
